Garreth overseas all aspects of the company he founded in 2004 and is actively involved in all client tour planning. Before Emerald Elite, Garreth spent 10 years working in Boston for Thomson Reuters where he was responsible for multi-million dollar contracts for blue chip companies including IBM, Bank of America, United Technologies, Sprint, Raytheon and Analog Devices. Garreth studied at Dublin Institute of Technology, Boston University and Northeastern University. Today, Garreth is well known to be a leading travel expert in the UK and Ireland. His sporting interests include, golf, soccer, Tae Kwon Do and keeping fit. Garreth plays golf at The Island Golf Club in Dublin, one of Ireland's Top 10 courses.

Originally from Brookline, MA, Valerie studied at Clark University where she captained the swim team! In 2003, Valerie moved to Ireland and helped set up Emerald Elite in 2004. Before joining Emerald Elite in a full time capacity, Valerie worked in biotechnology. In recent years Valerie completed an MBA from Dublin City University. With excellent knowledge of Britain & Ireland, Valerie specializes in extended tours and independent, partially guided trips. Valerie once organised a month long trip for a client! Outside of work, Valerie enjoys walking and playing golf at The Island Golf Club.

When it comes to career experience, Emma could write a book! Emma spent years in the entertainment industry on and off the stage before working in the planning of lifestyle activities for some high profile people. Having lived in Ireland and the UK, Emma knows these countries like the back of her hand and appreciates the opportunity to showcase our part of the world. Emma teaches yoga, reads certain books over and over and thinks Gherkins are a crime to food! Emma admires people who promote sustainability and has been actively involved with conservation since she was 16.

Conor is an Irish man with a deep love and appreciation for travel and golf. Conor has a Tourism Marketing degree and, initially through a college internship, spent time in both Connecticut and New York City. He worked for two golf tour operators, creating and overseeing his clients’ dream golf itineraries. His knowledge of the courses in Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales & Spain is outstanding and, as a PGA qualified golf professional, Conor is also the man to ask about your back-swing plane as well as the back-nine of Tralee Golf Club or the pot-bunkers of St. Andrews!
