This tour has 6 guaranteed departures between May and October 2020. Your place on the tour can be booked online and any pre or post travel assistance can be personalized with our travel professionals. This is an ideal tour option if you prefer a small group or if you are considering a private tour and have realized that the costs are expensive for small numbers. It is possible to adjust this tour slightly at the start and finish to work with your pre or post tour requirements.

Day 1 - Welcome to Ireland

Welcome to Ireland. Meet and greet in arrivals by your tour driver and transfer to quaint town of Adare in County Limerick. Enjoy some light sightseeing, today and adjust to your new timezone.

You will stay in the heart of Adare at The Dunraven Hotel, a quaint family run four star hotel with excellent food and service. You will be walking distance to great cafes, pubs and restaurants. Welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2 - Wild Atlantic Way

Today we will explore the Wild Atlantic Way and visit some of Ireland's most loved attractions. Scheduled attraction visits for today include:

  • The Cliffs of Moher.
  • Bunratty Castle & Folk Park.
  • King John's Castle - Ireland's first mint.

Day 3 - Dingle Peninsula + Slea Head  

Continuing south to the 'Kingdom' of Kerry by stepping back into ancient Ireland and a time gone bye touring the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head. Travel to Killarney in the afternoon.

Day 4 - The Ring of Kerry.

Today we explore The Ring of Kerry. We will travel along dramatic coastline, scenic mountain passes and colorful villages steeped in Irish history. We will introduce you to some hidden gem places of the beaten track.

Day 5 -Lakes of Killarney Boat Trip

Any visit to Ireland typically features a visit to Killarney. Its a great focal point for touring County Kerry but most visitors overlook what is on your doorstep within 15 minutes of the town. Today we will take a boat trip through the 3 lakes of Killarney and in then a horse & cart (jarvey) ride through the Gap of Dunloe. In the afternoon we drive to Kinsale where you will check into this lovely coastal setting. An alternative activity or tour will be arranged for those not wishing to take the boat trip.

Day 6 - Cork City & Cobh

Waking up overlooking the harbour in Kinsale never gets old. Today we will explore County Cork. 
  • Cork City & The 17th Century English Market
  • Cobh Heritage Center. Important port of migration and last stop of the Titanic.
  • Midleton Distillery
  • Charles Fort Kinsale - a military star shaped fortress from 1670.

Day 7 - The Grand Finale

Today we say goodbye to Kinsale and travel east to Dublin with some light touring along the way. On arrival in Dublin you will visit the Guinness Storehouse. While driving through the city your driver guide will give an overview of the city.

Day 8 - Best of Dublin

This itinerary will have given you an excellent first time trip to Ireland. You will have one last day to experience Dublin. This can take place either with our guide or at your own pace. In the evening we will take you for an Irish 'Hooley' night where you will enjoy food, music, dancing and entertainment.

The cost per person for this tour is €2,650 euros per person sharing. If you are traveling as a single there is a supplemental sole occupancy room charge of €1,190 euros. There are some upgrade options for accommodations on this tour including Adare Manor and The Merrion Hotel.
