Day 1 - Welcome to Rome

When you arrive in Rome and enter the arrivals area you will be greeted by a charming English speaking guide. Private airport transfer and use today to adjust to your new surroundings and time zone.

Your guide will meet you at the hotel and take in Rome either by foot or with transportation. You will have early access to The Vatican and a scheduled visit to the Colosseum to name but a few of today's visits.

Day 3 -Travel from Rome to Florence

Day 4 - Tuscan wine tour

Today travel from Rome to Florence - the pearl of the Renaissance, via Siena, one of the finest medieval cities and San Gimignano, one of Italy’s most beautiful hill-top villages.
Enjoy a private wine tour that will make you live an unforgettable experience thanks to the fabulous wines tasting, and for the renowned beauty of Tuscany countryside. Start your day with a visit and lunch at an estate which can trace its origins to 1385. You will also experience a visit to a smaller organic family estate. (Estate names revealed on booking).

Day 5 - Guided Tour of Florence

Day 6 - Florence to Venice

Today explore all that Florence has to offer. It's impossible to see everything in this Renaissance wonderland, so we’ll booked you a private tour with a local expert. The principal sights are easily discovered on foot. Visit the Uffizi, one of the world's oldest art galleries and a work of art itself. See Michelangelo's famous statue of David in the Galleria dell'Accademia.

Today enjoy the glorious countryside and historic architecture of the Emilia Romagna region. This area is also renowned for its cuisine such as tortellini, mortadella and parmesan cheese. Travel to Verona, the home of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, to admire the Roman arena and Juliet's Balcony. Arrive later in Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic.

Day 7 - Murano & Burano

Day 8 - Venice to Milan via Como & Garda

Savour the unique sights and sounds of Venice, visit some of the attractions of this magical city. Enjoy an insight into the Venetian tradition of glass making before seeing the sights including the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica and the ornate Doge's Palace. Spend free time seeing the sights of your choice. You might like to cruise across the lagoon and visit the Island of Burano.
Visit the Italian Lakes and see two of the region’s highlights. Stop in Sirmione on the southern shores of Lake Garda, and explore this carefree little peninsula town. As you stroll, admire its colorful streets, picturesque Roman ruins and 13th-century Scaligero Castle – all set against the dazzling blue backdrop of Italy’s largest lake. If Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake, then Lake Como takes the title for the most spectacular — basking in the scenic foothills of the snow-capped Rhaetain Alps. Stroll around a pretty waterfront village and soak up the laid-back atmosphere of Italian lakeside life. Having seen two of the country’s most beautiful lakes, travel to Milan, roughly 1.5 hours away.

Day 9 - Guided Tour of Milan

Private guided tour from 09:30. Explore the city's historic centre, visit the city's most famous building, the Gothic Duomo, and walk between its rooftop sculptures, admiring the views and the stunning Gothic terrace. Visit Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece, The Last Supper!

Day 10 - Depart from Milan airport

We are confident you will have enjoyed a great vacation in Italy. Your driver will take you to the airport and perhaps this will be the first of many trips to Italy.
